Job description :

We are looking for a versatile and committed manager for our client, capable of overseeing around 30 people across operations, production, human resources, financial management and marketing.

This key role requires maintaining high standards of quality and service within the food operations sector. The successful candidate will work closely with the Board of Directors, bringing their expertise and humanity to the heart of every decision.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and supervise the day-to-day operations of food services, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and optimising resources to ensure optimum operational performance.
  • Manage the teams spread across different sites, taking care of recruitment, departures, training and all other tasks related to the employees under his/her supervision.
  • Preparing budgets and optimising costs while ensuring quality of service.
  • Managing supplies and cultivating effective relationships with suppliers and external partners.
  • Coordinating and steering event projects and new establishments.
  • Implementing marketing strategies to keep the service competitive and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Representing the company to its various stakeholders, both internal and external, maintaining positive and constructive relations.
  • Taking on other key responsibilities, adapted to the evolving needs of the organisation.

Skills and qualifications :

  • 7 to 10 years' management experience in the food sector, ideally in an institutional or not-for-profit environment.
  • Proven leadership with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills to understand and meet the needs of all stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Ability to identify and prioritise issues effectively, with responsiveness to different situations.
  • Open-mindedness and flexibility to welcome new ideas and perspectives.
  • Proven skills in solving complex problems (The candidate should demonstrate a commitment to sustainable practices and a heightened awareness of the importance of environmental protection).
  • Strong team spirit, essential for collective success.
