Job description :

We're looking for an IT support technical specialist living in the Rivière-du-Loup area. In this role, you will provide technical support to customers, both on-site (50% of the time) and remotely from a telecommuting call center (50% of the time). Your work will involve resolving a wide variety of IT issues, including network administration, device management, security, backups, telephony, among others. In addition, you will be required to travel to customers in the region to provide exceptional customer service and identify sales opportunities. 

Skills and qualifications :

  • Residence around Rivière-du-Loup with the ability to travel easily to local customers. 
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a vehicle. 
  • Diploma in computer science specializing in network management, IT support or equivalent. 
  • Significant experience (3 to 5 years) in IT support for SMEs. 
  • Strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills and autonomy. 
  • Ability to work effectively remotely and take charge of customers. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and proactive skills. 
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 platforms, virtualization with VMWare, Veeam and Acronis backup solutions, Windows server administration, firewalls (Fortinet, SonicWall, Cisco, WatchGuard) and Windows client versions.
