Job description :

The position is a full-time temporary opportunity, lasting approximately 16 to 18 months, under the supervision of the Director.
It requires 35 hours of work per week, including one shift from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. and four hours of work from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. one Saturday per month, with the remainder of the hours worked during the day. 
The coordinator will work as part of a team comprising ten caregivers.

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide clinical support and supervision to the intervention team.
  • Support the intervention team in the development of intervention plans, intersectional feminist analysis and improvement of practices.
  • Seek ways to improve interventions and enrich the experience of beneficiaries.
  • Organize community practices and weekly clinical meetings.
  • Train and orient new workers.
  • Help set goals for improving interventions and activities to strengthen the work team.
  • Provide individual support to caregivers in the preparation, management and organization of interventions.
  • Work in collaboration with management and administration.
  • Follow-up on external services, including case assessments and short-term interventions.
  • Participate in crisis management as required.
  • Write reports and notes for service recipients.
  • Research relevant information to support service recipients.

Skills and qualifications :

Undergraduate degree in social work, special education or related field.
At least four to five years' experience working with women, with knowledge of feminist intervention.
At least two years' experience in team management.
Autonomy, initiative and good judgment.
Creativity and capacity for innovation.
Demonstrated positive leadership.
Experience in front-line intervention support.
Fluency in French and English to work with English-speaking and allophone service recipients.
Ability to provide feedback and monitor progress.
Organization and structure in work.
Member in good standing of a professional order, an asset.
