Job description :

We are currently recruiting for a Postproduction Coordinator with experience in audiovisual postproduction in the agency sector. He/she will also be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the various stages of a project's post-production and for managing human and material resources in order to respect the schedule of activities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate post-production projects and client billing;
  • Evaluate the feasibility and budget of projects;
  • Coordinate the understanding and analysis of the project by the stakeholders (concept, budget, deliverables);
  • Validate at each stage, especially during editing, storyboarding and animation with the client;
  • Prepare post-production schedules and timelines;
  • Coordinate resources in accordance with production schedules and budgets;
  • Supervise the identification of internal and external resources required;
  • Conduct casting and oversee UDA/ACTRA/AFM contracts;
  • Assist in the preparation of necessary project management documents (budget, schedules, quotes, etc.);
  • Perform final AV approval of the project with the client;
  • Establish project requirements and be proactive in finding solutions with the various teams;
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders regarding the status, issues and challenges associated with the project;
  • Follow up on time sheets;
  • Perform quality control of all project deliverables in conjunction with the producers;
  • Send and ensure delivery of projects (email, WeTransfer, Frame IO, mail, etc.);
  • Identify new client needs, buying cycles and opportunities;
  • Coordinate the production of company marketing tools (AV, print, etc.);
  • Conduct feedback with clients and conduct project post mortem with the team.

Skills and qualifications :

  • College degree in audiovisual, project management, television postproduction or related field;
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in audiovisual post-production;
  • Knowledge of the creative and cultural industry;
  • Experience in project management (planning and organization);
  • Writing skills;
  • Experience in the delivery of audiovisual projects and good knowledge of the production process;
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Drive, Sheet, Spreadsheet);
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
  • Functional bilingualism, spoken and written (English-French).
