Our globally recognized client is looking for a - Devops Engineer - to help accelerate their growth.
The role of the DevOps Developer is to work collaboratively with team members to deploy and operate internal systems. He/she will be expected to help automate and streamline operations and processes. Create and maintain tools for deploying, monitoring and operating security solutions.

Position Responsibility:

• Prioritize issues and address them appropriately.
• Diagnose problems with probes (networks, firewalls, services or hardware)
• Ensure that production services and servers are aligned with the proposed solution
• Review software architecture design and code, suggest improvements
• Understand third party software dependencies, both operational and configuration
• Diagnose and resolve bugs in application software
• Perform all business tasks within the company, with an automatic focus on security
• Prepare and deploy upgrades and new packages
• Monitor applications with tools.
   

Skills and qualifications :

• University degree/CEGEP in computer science or equivalent
• 2 - 7 years of relevant DevOps experience
• Excellent knowledge of Linux operating systems (RHEL, CentOS)
• Knowledge of programming languages used (C, Python, PHP, JavaScript etc.)
• Knowledge of automation tools (Chef, Ansible, Puppet)
• Experience with CI / CD tools
• Experience in cloud environments - Azure and AWS
• Experience with TCP/IP protocol and network troubleshooting (VPN/IPSEC, etc.)
• Experience working with various elements ensuring system security (Firewalls, proxies, etc.)
• Honesty, integrity and confidentiality required at all times
• Strong work ethic and team spirit
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
