Our client, a privately-owned construction company founded several decades ago, offers comprehensive services in project planning, execution and delivery. With half a century of experience, the company combines expertise and family spirit to ensure that its customers' projects are carried out with passion and dedication. 

An administrative coordinator position with some accounting duties is available.   

Main responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for the accounting cycle of construction projects. 
  • Produce project invoicing and budget tracking via Oracle's Textura system. 
  • Liaise with accounting department regarding contract-based billing and invoicing. 
  • Prepare billing files. 
  • Prepare contracts, purchase orders and change orders. 
  • Perform project follow-ups (preparation of subcontractor contracts and contracts between general contractor and owner/developer, etc.). 
  • Perform various administrative tasks (opening files, taking calls, agenda management, filing, photocopies, faxes and scans, etc.). 
  • All other related tasks as required by the company and the immediate superior.

Skills and qualifications :

  • Holder of a DEP, DES or DEC in accounting. 
  • 2 years' experience in accounting. 
  • Fluency in both spoken and written French. 
  • Advanced analytical skills. 
  • Proficiency in Oracle Textura and Maestro (an asset).
