Job description :

Design and integrate avionics software solutions (Display, Navigation, Surveillance, Communication and Mission) integrating state-of-the-art technologies such as touch screens, ARINC 653 real-time computers, artificial intelligence and voice recognition. Work in a modern and flexible environment on challenging projects where you will be challenged personally and professionally.

As a Senior Embedded Software Designer, you will act as an expert and mentor a software team in the different development cycles. You will be required to provide leadership, follow up with the team and participate in the various activities of the software development cycle.

Responsibilities :

• Lead a software development team
• Work in collaboration with the software architect and the System, Quality and Product teams to complete projects

Skills and qualifications :

To join the team, you must:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Good written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work in Canada
• 9 years of experience in object-oriented software programming (C++), as well as C on real time embedded systems.
• Experience as a team leader
• Excellent knowledge of RTCA DO-178C, DO-278, DO-330, DO-331, DO332 and DO-333 certification standards
• Knowledge of ARP4754 and ARP4761 standards
• Knowledge of ARINC 653, 429, 825, 615, 661" standards
